With March right around the corner, I've been steadily working my way through a whole slew of new flower designs and mixes for spring and Mother's Day (yes, already!). In the meantime, I wanted to share another one of my favorite recent projects.
This post feels a bit like being able to share a secret I've been keeping bottled up for months—I'm so elated to share all of the details of this project today!
Erica's wedding just took place in November, but she reached out to me last February to see if I'd be able to help her with her flowers. Having just gotten started with this venture I was upfront about the fact I didn't have a ton of experience with weddings, but that didn't phase her! In fact, she had already included an image from my Instagram feed on her inspiration board. Talk about flattery!

As I'm wrapping up my last two anniversary bouquets of the year this week, I realized I never got around to sharing Leo's gift to Katie!

I'm piecing the final details together for that launch, so stay tuned for an ambitious collection of gifts that I could not be more excited about!
In the meantime, I have a few more October Paperversary projects that are safe to reveal now, and I'm so excited to be able to share this one with you!
Read MoreUpon the release of the University of Richmond Magazine, I received an email from a fellow alumnae whose daughter was about to celebrate her first wedding anniversary. She loved the idea of gifting her something that would be more like a combination of a Paperversary bouquet and a study.
Read MoreThis week I got an email from Justin letting me know that it was safe to share the project we collaborated on and that his wife, Sabrina, loved her gift! Phew!
I loved working on this one! It was full of things I'd never tried before, a combination I never would have thought to put together, and made up of a palette I just can't get enough of these days.
Let's dig in!
Read MoreKelly—one of my awesome former co-workers from the agency I mentioned last week—messaged me asking if I'd be able to help her with a housewarming gift for her Mom. She recently moved to Richmond and has been busy decorating her gorgeous new home. Kelly sent me a photo and told me a little bit about her Mom's style which is entirely cozy with warm neutrals like linen, rich browns, black, and a touch of turquoise.

Stephen contacted me a little late in the game having just found out about my ability to recreate bouquets. I took one look at the gorgeous photos he sent (and was won over by his genuine excitement) and knew I needed to find a way to make this one happen.
Read MoreI'm so excited to share another paper anniversary bouquet today. I wrapped this one up before Labor Day but needed to make sure the coast was clear before I shared more than the sneak peek I posted here a little while back. After how far in advance Kevin planned this surprise for his wife, Alissa, I'd hate to be the one to ruin it!

Read MoreLast week I had the absolute privilege of sending out an extraordinary first-anniversary gift to help a couple celebrate their first anniversary despite the fact they weren't going to be able to spend it together. While deployed this wonderful man reached out to me to see if I could help him surprise his bride with a unique bouquet.

None have ever impressed me as much as Christina Dick, owner of TFB Agency, a social media and public relations strategy company here in Richmond. She takes the concept of drive to a whole new level!
Read MoreThis custom order had been arranged well ahead of schedule, so I was excited to get to work on it after I returned from my vacation in May. After hanging out with my childhood best friends and celebrating our impending 40th birthdays, I also realized that this gift is putting all of the birthday gifts I've given to shame! Talk about a real show-stopper!
Read MoreRight before Mother's Day, I got an email from a friend of mine about a custom order. She and her wife were about to celebrate their first anniversary and she wanted to know if I had any flowers, or if I could make something similar to the flowers they had in their bouquets. "I'm sure you know that the traditional gift for the first anniversary is paper, so I thought this would be perfect.", she wrote. Well, I have to admit, up until this point I had never put these pieces together. I sure am glad that Caroline did, because she's right—this is a brilliant gift idea!
Read MoreI absolutely love custom orders for two reasons: 1) I usually get to try something new, and 2) I often get a wonderful story about the reason why the gift is being ordered or about the person it's being ordered for. In this case, both were true.
