With March right around the corner, I've been steadily working my way through a whole slew of new flower designs and mixes for spring and Mother's Day (yes, already!). In the meantime, I wanted to share another one of my favorite recent projects.

Erica's wedding just took place in November, but she reached out to me last February to see if I'd be able to help her with her flowers. Having just gotten started with this venture I was upfront about the fact I didn't have a ton of experience with weddings, but that didn't phase her! In fact, she had already included an image from my Instagram feed on her inspiration board. Talk about flattery!

Happy November, everyone! I'm back from a long weekend in the Caribbean, where I celebrated my 40th birthday relaxing and recharging before the holidays kick into full force. Upon the release of the University of Richmond Magazine, I received an email from a fellow alumnae whose daughter was about to celebrate her first wedding anniversary. She loved the idea of gifting her something that would be more like a combination of a Paperversary bouquet and a study.

Right before Mother's Day, I got an email from a friend of mine about a custom order. She and her wife were about to celebrate their first anniversary and she wanted to know if I had any flowers, or if I could make something similar to the flowers they had in their bouquets. "I'm sure you know that the traditional gift for the first anniversary is paper, so I thought this would be perfect.", she wrote.
